Not so easy this year

The budleja started blooming late and we don’t see much butterflies on it this year. I had to wait quite some time for this one and when it was there I was a bit slow making the photo. Almost missed it ;-P

Other years we have many many butterflies in the garden. Same plants here as every year, so I’m not sure what the problem is. Maybe it’s because of the problem with the aphids or there are less butterfly-friendly plants in the neighborhood or maybe it’s just not the best year for butterflies with the early heat and wet days after that. Let’s just hope next year they will be with much more…
