Notes from a small island

Went to see a production directed by my friend Lorraine tonight. The play is based on Bill Bryson’s book ‘Notes From A Small Island’ . This was the stage before the play began. It was absolutely brilliant! It’s been beset by difficulties, the most significant being that the lead became very ill with pneumonia and someone else had to step in two weeks before the performance. He was amazing and did a great job.
