Alstroemeria

An afternoon with Kanyl.  Being a bit more "lish" than he is I trimmed his box hedge for him.  Not quite as simple as it sounds as the ground outside the garden slopes a little but the garden a couple of feet up has been levelled.  So to ensure a level top I fix a ladder horizontally across the hedge carefully levelled by spirit level.  This then gives an accurate guide as to where to cut.

Wandering round looking for a blip his Alstroemeria were making a good show.  We both bought the plants the same day.  His are going from strength to strength.  Ours have just gone.
