In the vernacular?

       "It's a bit of a bad git oot." BUT comes to that - "It's a bit of a poor git back in" too.  There's a residential/part residential Children's Home more or less just across the road.
       Most of the Houses on this Estate date from early 60s; without Deed-searching this was built between 1961 & 1963, as was, I'll guess, the Children's Home.  BOTH at a period in history when there weren't 2-3 Cars per household.  T B H one or two is more likely but I have seen the odd three. 
       The Home has not one off-street Park for one Car and I think there's seldom fewer than three on duty; at least during the day.
