Busy

Another cloudy day. So shop, paperwork, grass cut; garden tidied, more paperwork then a siesta as the sun tried to break through. Throughout it has been mild and a bit humid.

Late afternoon I sat at the edge of the garden path beside the lavender watching a variety of bees taking hector. The bumblebees were the largest and most colourful but getting a photo of them was a challenge. They flitted from flower to flower and by the time I had focussed they were off; or had bent the flower head down with their weight. They were constantly on the move too.

My phone ended up being better than my usual camera and I am pleased with the clarity of these shots. And the fact I got 2 in the same picture (see extra).
