Posing for peanuts

Today was a hot and humid day. I was able to get out for a walk just after work down to the lake. I had the cardinal there to greet me as I heard a young one peeping in the bushes. This cardinal will not come to my hand but know me enough to come close to get a peanut. The cardinal came back 4 or 5 times to get peanuts before I headed back in for air conditioning
