I had a lovely walk with Django this morning - someone mentioned that it was a good year for butterflies and I really think that's the case... 
Afterwards I packed for my trip this weekend, My backpack is quite small to fit in all the camping equipment as well as food for me and Django, but I managed to fit it all in. Then, I went to Katya's. The guy who came today to give her an estimate was recommended by a friend and we both really liked him. He was professional, thorough, explained everything without being patronising in any way. gave her options etc.. Quite a contrast with the guy who came yesterday. We should get a quote from him by the end of next week. I came back home, shopping on the way, hen quickly finished the packing, showered and went to Portobello for a pot luck dinner with people from the band. It was a good evening, made even better by good news from Lucie, who called me as I was leaving.
