Still dark

35 minutes before our official sunrise this morning. Even though it was very dark outside at 7.15 a.m.there were signs of a lovely, clear day to follow. The bright colours were emerging on the horizon looking over the Pacific Ocean. As a former science teacher, the term sunrise intrigues me. As my pupils correctly noted, this is only relativity. The sun is always there in the same spot, and maybe it should be called earth fall and therefore sunset would be called earth rise. But that's just weird.
