Reflections and rings

Mid morning pilates class .. hot work.  Late afternoon walk to the Botanics; which wasn't impossibly busy, then around by the Rocheid path. 

We stood on the bridge for quite a while staring at the water, to try to work out what we were seeing .. continuous rings appearing, from different sources in different sizes, with a little residue left inside each ring in the few seconds before it dissipated. Invisible, tiny fish just breaking the surface seemed the most probably explanation .. we did see a couple of 5 cm fry, but nothing like as many as would account for all the rings.
