New to this patch pyromaniacs, why?!

Well, I do know why. We continue with the bins situations which has meant no recycling collections since January, nor garden waste collections for those of us who have opted over the years to pay for that service. Bonfires are becoming more prevalent around here. Though I have a whole folder of photos of similar scenes through my one window or front door facing in that direction. But, not from this garden before. The flames were higher a split second before I took this. 

So... that's now all of my across the alleyway neighbours who think late evening bonfires at the bottom of their gardens right by their fence are OK when the breeze is blowing in my direction, and it's all nearer my fence and house than their house... I didn't get to close my upstairs windows in time and the house still smells smoky this morning.

This is an ultra grumpy blip of what summed up the whole day pretty well. It was a "What could irritate me, did irritate me" kind of day and I probably haven't decompressed enough from term time to be safe in public yet!
