ANGEL'S TRUMPETS

Not a great day or Britain, the orange turd is arriving in Scotland today.  Luckily there are plenty of people with appropriate plaques to ungreet him (shudders at the thought of it being on UK turf). Apologies for the wee rant, but that's how "it" makes me feel and I don't like being like that at all.

I had my appointment with the Doctor yesterday afternoon about my bad back (I've had it now for over 2 months).  I had to wait a whole 2 minutes past my time!!!!!!!!!!  She was very thorough with her examination and managed to allay my fears.  She game me some Codeine (which I 'm not keen on taking, but will do so but only when its bad, usually in the evenings) and also gave me some exercises to do, which I will do.  She made a referral for me to have an x-ray, I  could go to either Barrow, Ulverston, Kendal or Lancaster whenever I wanted to, no appointment you just check in and wait your turn.

So hubby and I went up to Kendal this morning, parking is better and Fridays appear to be much quieter up there then for some reason.  Anyway I registered and only had to wait about 30 minutes so that was great.  The X-ray was taken and the results will go to my GP in about 10 days time, so that is that for now.

On the way home we stopped of a Levens Kitchens for a Brunch - well in fact we were 10 minutes early for  the kitchen so we sat and enjoyed a lovely coffee whilst waiting.  It was reasonably quiet then.  However by the time we came away, about 10.30, it was so much busier and the car park was full.

Had  a quick walk around the block and took the photo of these lovely blooms as I thought you might like them.

That's it for now.  Hope you are all well, do take great care of yourselves and I will see you all tomorrow.  Oh and this is my entry for Flower Friday, wiith many thanks to the fabulous BikerBear for hosting, wherever she is right now!!!
