Today it is a balmy 24c with a pleasant breeze.
Plenty of butterfly activity in the garden. One dRk winged butterfly came into the conservatory and stayed awhile on a tea towel enjoying the sunshine.
Jasper has visited a few times and he is rolling in the cat mint looking very blissful.
Naughty Hunter suddenly ran across the lawn with a bird in his mouth, probably a baby blackbird but he took it behind the hydrangea bush before we could check. I felt terrible for the poor little bird. I got the watering can and threw some water near where Hunter was hiding and he ran out without the bird.
Paul is going to the garage this afternoon to get two new front tyres fitted on our car. It is covered by a scheme he signed up for, so thankfully no sudden extra expense.
My sister and her family are back to their home, after celebrating a family 40th Wedding Anniversary in Scotland.
I have bought a white Astilbe from Gardener's Dream to add to the small collection. It should be delivered Wednesday. They are drought tolerant so a good investment and the pink and red ones are doing well.
Have a lovely day blip friends and thank you for visiting my site today.
