Over the Fence

This pretty hibiscus flowers in a neighbour’s garden, not in ours. I spent some time gardening today - pruning, deadheading, and starting to harvest our mirabelle plums. The tree has produced an amazing crop this year, and needs to be blipped soon. 

It was an odd day, weather-wise. The forecast was for a cloudy day with showers and possibly thunderstorms. Indeed, we could see dark clouds somewhere on the horizon all afternoon, but here it stayed sunny, dry and pretty warm with 27°C. A pity, as we had been hoping for rain.
