Pied Wagtail

Despite showing you a post, but no wire, I know from the background colour you will have guessed where I was today and you're right!  Yes, it was down to the coast again for me and a very lovely day I had of it too!

The favourite shot I came home with was definitely this (female, I think) pied wagtail.  What very elegant birds they are to be sure.  I suppose chicks were being fed, even though I did wonder if it wasn't a bit late in the season?  Maybe not.

Back home now it does feel a little cooler but still somehow heavy and horribly headache-y.  Tomorrow I have a choice of going to the butterfly reserve or doing quite a lot of gardening.  If the air's as heavy as it is now the garden and lashings of herbal tea may just win out!
