Good news, I think, in the back front
Astoundingly, the results from my MRI were available at 7am on the MyChart app. Good news, I think. The initial interpretation is that spondyloarthritis is minimal, so hopefully that means I can get my arse together and improve my flexibility. I’ll have to wait until I can get into my doctor’s to have the results fully explained though. You can never really tell.
Spent a good day working. Well, not a “good day” – you know what I mean. Getting into the translation now and finding it makes sense, which is a good starting point for translations. This one was definitely written by a human being. What astounds me about the previous ones is that they have all been approved, so someone must have read them and thought. “yes, this is fine”. I wish I could post some so you could see, but honour-bound, etc.
Mrs. Ottawacker fell off her bike this morning while taking her morning constitutional. Nothing major, just a reminder that things can happen very quickly. She has a scraped knee and bruised ribs. This is why I never exercise.
Because I am a dutiful husband, we have started watching Hotel Portofino of an evening. The scenery is amazing and there are a lot of nice actors to look at too – very few of which I knew. I am no longer English. I think I could go and settle in Italy. People have their priorities right. Insane politically speaking, but the light makes up for that to a certain extent… he says confidently.
Nice chat with Ottawacker Jr. in the early evening – he is having a great time out there in Victoria: beach walks, picnics, etc. It is hard not to be too jealous. But hey, at least I have a dental appointment to look forward to tomorrow.
Blip is of my departure from the MRI lab at 2am… so still technically acceptable for today’s blip!
