Swimdog session
The day has been glorious with lovely sunshine and a gentle wind.
We had a session booked with swimdog at midday, it was perfect.
Keely loves swimming so much and is confident enough to swim without a floatation jacket, Julie (the owner) kept an eye on her to make sure she didn't get too tired and start sinking at the hips.
Dina was her usual anxious self but Julie noticed that if you carried her out she was much happier swimming back to the ramp (she put a float around her hips that gave her a better swimming position. After a couple of lengths she had learnt that position was better and her swimming stroke improved). With this break through she started to relax, look around her etc. Julie suggested I go to the back of the pool and call her, she came on her own accord several times. It was so good to see her actually choosing to swim to me. Unfortunately my camera suddenly gave me a "card error" notification and wouldn't take any more photos or videos. Fortunately the next person in the pool was a friend and she managed to capture Dina's last swim.
