A nice snooze

I'd put some cardboard down as a weed suppressant on a recently emptied bed and was intending to spread some compost on the top of it, but found his/her nibs having a snooze on it. Looked up at me then immediately afterwards put its head down again and went back to sleep! But I evidently created too much of a disturbance feeding the birds, so eventually he sloped off. 

Later on went up town to Mother India for a meal with DG, family and friends - lovely to catch up them all but particularly his missus D, who Blipfoto told me I haven't seen for twelve years!
