everlasting

Everlasting flower. Or straw flower, or helichrysum. Remembered to grow some this year. They’re so pretty with their papery crispy flowers, and they last for months. This is the first flower from a packet of assorted colour seeds. Another hot day. Got a whole line of washing dry, picked more tomatoes, and visited Mr I. He’s ok and happy. I took him a big bag of Maltesers. Traffic was bad both ways - 45 minutes each way. Then I had to call into One Stop in Kirby Muxloe to collect a parcel and buy some carrots.
