Cormorant(s)
A couple of expeditions today - one up to Scayles music shop (again), this time for a capo that more reliably fits across Ogatodomar's wider fingerboard. Due to more adventurous bus-hopping than usual I was able to visit M & S and.....brace yourselves....bought a pair of trousers!! An event of exceeding rarity.
Later I needed to go up to Tesco's for a few messages and thought to go a bit further up Leith Walk first off, in order to visit the Leith Arches Hub ahead of the Free Fringe shows. Sat there with a cup of coffee to get a sense of the space - it should be fine. Small - would be surprised if they could get the advertised 30 folk in without extreme discomfort. Think the most I got last year was 20 on one night, which would be fine.
Thought you were going to get a v boring blip of the interior of the cafe, but a cormorant obliged by posing in the middle of the WoL as I got off the bus. It wasn't until I downloaded the photo that I realised there was a second cormorant below, in a subservient posture. Parent with young? Seems an odd time of year for courtship, but they are cormorants which are mysterious beasts.
