Back Blip from yesterday
This family were a joy. I watched them from where I was on Platform 1 in Lancaster and then they were in my carriage. Granny, mum and 4 children. They were playing together and laughing and climbing on the railings.
On the train they played games, chatted and were so well behaved, no squabbles.
When I arrived at Lancaster and walking past them I complimented them on there on being such a happy family.
I take pictures of people so I can sketch them. I love people sketches.
I also forgot to say last night that when Frank picked me up and drove us home we drove to the dead end of our road where we always turn but we couldn’t at first because a black car was parked there and three young Muslim men were on the the ground praying. It was interesting to watch but they got to their feet, got in the car and moved it - they were very polite.
As we turned and moved our car, they moved theirs back and carried on praying. We could hear them praying which I think sounds rather nice.
It was really odd yet interesting to see this all happen at the top of our quiet little street. I take it they were on the way to somewhere and it was time for their prayers and so took the first turning off the main road. I hope they were praying for world peace.
I must go to bed now, I can’t keep my eyes open! zzzzZzz
Goodnight Blippers :-) X
