Summer Lates, The Roman Baths, Bath

Spent 5hrs with Dad at the hospital in Bath today, once again he slept most of the time I was there. He had another episode this morning; they now think it's heart related rather than neurological. Next Tuesday they will fit a pacemaker. Discharge date extended again.

Late afternoon walked to my BC friend's house where we caught the bus into town and enjoyed pizza and rosé in the warm evening sun, before heading to the Roman Baths to enjoy a glass of bubbles and music by the Great Bath. The Abbey was glowing in the sun against a perfect blue sky. Bus back to BC friend's house to collect my hospital bag, then my fifth bus of the day home just as it was getting dark. A lovely evening in the outside world, great to feel normal.
