Caterpillar

A warm and muggy day. I was glad to be in the relative cool of the shop. Hubby’s task today was staining our outside bench which was looking a bit worse for wear.
Walking back up to the car this evening I nearly trod on this hairy looking caterpillar. Hubby moved it to a safer place on a bush.
Terrible journey home, it usually takes about 25 minutes but tonight it took nearly an hour. Multiple roads close to home were being re-surfaced today and it seems like they were running late. Every diversion we took brought us to another closed road.
