The Coos are back!

The young coos have been coming into the field across our fence intermittently this year for some reason. It was so good to see them back today. This handsome specimen was closest to the fence today, but sadly ignored my invitation to come closer.

In previous seasons the whole herd has been at my fence, reacting to Hamish and his barking, curious as to why this crazy dog was getting so worked up. They can be quite dark and sinister when they are all together in a group.

Medical wise, the hospital tells me that they are going to leave the liver problem for a little while and do a further scan in September. On a positive note, my PSA number is way down and the hormone therapy seems to be working. Good news.
