Death in the Woods

This juvenile raccoon was one of two raccoon bodies I came upon today. This one deemed more at peace and had been by serviced by Bald Eagles and Turkey Vultures. The photo juvenile was close to our big pond, the other was floating in our small pond. Our raccoons are noted for foraging during the daytime and having little or no fear of humans. RIP. NannaK (HCB)
