Tree stump pot

This is a stump from our beloved apple tree that we lost four years ago. It's been repurposed as a planter for purple sage. I keep expecting it to split in two, the split has gotten bigger. Maybe the sage is holding it together. 

The berries belong to the aronia bush next to the stump.
