In The Wee Hours
Friday. I was up and about very early; sleep was doing its best to evade me. As the sky began to brighten, I headed out for a drive to make the most of the twilight and take some dawn photographs. My favourite is this 6x17 image of a deserted drive-thru in Canterbury, heavily Inspired by the amazing work of American photographer Nick Carver.
Work took me to our Chartham office today, always a pleasant change to escape the frantic bustle of our main site for a time. The hot summer weather has returned, with blazing sun through most of the day; very sticky and humid. It was a long day, and I didn’t get away till the evening… we were a bit short-staffed so I had to stay to shut the premises down for the night.
Raff’s bistro: yummy Breaded Basa with Tomato & Basil Sauce. As a bonus, Dash got bored in the afternoon and made a batch of delicious crusty Rye Bread. Later on, it was Games Night: we’re cracking on with the GW2 storyline, having completed the Heart of Thorns expansion, and now we are venturing into Bloodstone Fen.
