HELPING MR. HCB

Good morning Lovely Blippers,

You all know how much Mr. HCB loves his garden, and he has been a little disappointed with a lot of the plants in the garden because they are looking so sad for lack of rain.  It is especially hard now that there is a hosepipe ban in Wiltshire, but he does his best. 

We thought we would go and help him with watering the cucumbers that he has in a special little greenhouse - and we counted 12 plus lots of littler ones.  They are really tasty and Mr. And Mrs. HCB always say there is no comparison to the ones you buy from the supermarket.  We thought that the name of the cucumbers would make dear Admirer giggle - it’s “Burpless”!  Mr. HCB tends to pick them when they are about 6 to 8 inches long and they do taste good.

We think that Mr. HCB enjoyed us helping him - and we told him that we are here to help him whenever he needs extra help.  He said he would let us know!

It’s quite a dull day today and a lot cooler, in fact, you can see how dull it is by the photograph, but we are all glad about that - sometimes it has been too hot for us, especially with our fur! 

We just need to remind you to BE KIND - and not only to BE KIND, but also to SPEAK KINDLY to people - a kind and gentle word goes a long way to helping someone, especially if they are feeling under the weather or not coping with life very well.
