Pews and Views

F is on church locking duty this week, so this evening I went with him to find the sun shining on these pews at the back of the church. Someone had been in and cleaned, as the delightful smell of polish greeted us as we entered!

But I have heard that there is a move afoot to remove some of the back pews, to allow that area to be used in a more flexible way for concerts and other events.

Somehow I think this idea will be rather controversial !!
