Emergency Pledge Drive

Volunteers taking pledges at the end of a 3 day pledge drive at our local public radio station, WHQR.  The federal government eliminated their 174 K share (about 9%) of the annual budget, thus the impromptu drive.  Gina and I answered phones for the last 3 hours today.  Callers were enthusiastic, generous, and somewhat angry.  At the end of the day, listeners donated more than enough, 185,000 dollars.
