Making a splash

In the morning, I went over to our neighbour’s house and checked that it is drying out. There is still some water in the cupboards but I think it will completely dry out in a couple of days. It remains to be seen what happens when there is the next violent downpour or storm. I did the week’s vegetable and fruit shopping in the local market as I have a medical appointment on Tuesday and will miss the main market in Prades. I spent some time in the garden weeding and tidying before it got hot. In the afternoon, I wandered over to church to do some printing and returned via the tennis courts and swimming pool. The pool is a big attraction for tourists and holiday makers. The outdoor pool is only open in July and August, but it has been recently improved with a snack bar and sunbathing areas.
