Out & about

Aylesford High Street, it's single-alternate-way traffic controlled by traffic lights - it would be a nightmare otherwise. The building in the distance, on the left, that slightly overhangs the road is The Chequers; the other pub on the High Street. 

 I went out to fill the car up and then headed to Sainsbury's. This involves crossing the river at Aylesford, but the bridge is closed for roadworks. So, I had to schlep back through town. To get back to Sainsbury's at Allington (my original target) meant going into town and out again, away from the direction of home. Rather than do that I went to Staplehurst, my usual shopping venue. I bet that you are as excited about that adrenaline-fuelled description of my shopping journey as I was when I made it.

More than halfway through my marking, so that's good.
