Heat

It has been a lovely warm day - it is 23˚ inside the house so must be a lot more outside.
I missed coffee catch up this morning as was having a hair cut.... 
My hairdresser is Eloise's mum, so we had a good couple of hours chatting and I enjoyed coffee there.  Great to see them both and find out that Eloise is really enjoying her 'real work'.  She will start one day at College in September but says she is learning a lot from the man who is teaching her where she is working - and loving it. Such good news.
Visited a friend whose birthday it is today - had to leave a card and gift as they were out. Boo - no cake on offer!
I don't grow gladioli so snapped a shot of this one at the friend's house.  The only one I saw so not sure if they ought to have had more or not.
Home to make supper, prepare for a day out tomorrow and enjoy some TV.
Just heard the Lions won their rugby match in Australia - well done lads.
