Edinburgh Outing

We took our grandsons to Edinburgh Zoo today; we got on the train from Lenzie and got off at Haymarket for a few hours at the zoo.  We're not that keen on zoos, but at least the Royal Zoological Society of Scotland can claim to be helping to protect endangered species.

The zoo is on a hill, with steep footpaths to ensure that we got plenty of exercise during the visit.  At the end we visited Princes Street and had a happy few minutes not spending money in the Apple Store near Waverley Station.
