Good Show, God!

Met our nephew, Dan, this morning at Lisbon airport, after which we had breakfast at Honest Greens, walked along the Tagus for a bit, then headed for Nazaré - he is a surfer. No huge waves, but he had a swim, we got the funicular up to the top of the cliffs, and walked along to see where the big waves come in, then back down for a typical Portuguese mackerel and sea bass dinner, followed by another walk along the beach, and a stupendous sunset. Loved that everyone was taking photos, oohing and aahing and clapping when it finally disappeared.

Gratefuls:
- so much beauty: sparkling turquoise sea, white gulls against the blue sky, the sweep of the bay with its looping fringe of white sand, the view of Nazaré's red tiled roofs from above
- safety in all our travel, including everyone back from our church Camp
- ice-cream cones!
