Restful
I keep forgetting about the tourists, I don't drive anywhere very often so I'm shocked about the amount of people at the shopping mall in Färjestaden by the harbour. I was only going to get a few beers and a bottle of wing from the shop and found the HUGE parking nearly full. These are the last two weeks of the tourist-season and I really wish them a terrific stay here, I just need to remember they are here. Everything takes twice the time on the roads and in the shops but they are generally super positive about being here.
The day was spent lazying around the home, doing some little gardening and clearing up around the wood pile.
Forty six years ago, my oldest friend died of cancer in Lund, in the south of Sweden, where I'm born. We had many good years together before his tragic death and usually I spend some time in peace this day, thinking about the importance of the time we had together. Tonight was such a nice evening, I sat on the veranda around half past ten in a breezeless, twenty degrees evening with a beer, contemplating. Some die young, I'm happy about what we learned about each other and life in general.
My hydrangea has woken up and decided to bloom, it didn't like to be moved last year but now it seems to have found new strengh.
