Exmouth beach

It’s been a beautiful day weather wise. I enjoyed the morning sprint cycle class and then drove into Exmouth for some food shopping. I stopped on the way to take today’s photo. The sun was shining and there was just a little breeze but l couldn’t stop as there was lots to do. After an initial shop here l then drove to another supermarket in Sidmouth to pick up a few things. I was back home for lunch and to start the sourdough bread making.

The afternoon was a whirl of cooking with a vegetable lasagne and a rhubarb and orange sponge cake made. The rhubarb was picked a few hours earlier and is growing well on the allotment.

We collected our son from the station and later in the evening were joined by our daughter, our son in law and our two grandsons. So good to see everyone.
