Mother and son

I had a most wonderful day with my son Gulliver, there was a free jazz festival at the Southbank, lots of live bands and DJs, great atmosphere and some real talent. I particularly wanted to see Blue Lab Beats whose records I’ve bought they were amazing.

There was a fantastic charity there campaigning for bone marrow donors and people to give blood, the lady who started the charity had lost her son to leukaemia, my brother has had leukaemia and had his life saved by a bone marrow donor, I am too old at 60 but Gulliver was happy to volunteer for bone marrow donation and to give Blood bless him.


We had lunch at wagamama and drinks at the Southbank, we played cards and we learnt a new game called Kings in the corner.

I actually can’t remember the last time that Gallagher and I were just alone together having fun, it really has been the most wonderful day.
