Walked up through Queen Street gardens to get to Marks & Spencer for socks and a newspaper. The back entrance is much more fenced off than it used to be but still open. The blip is the path parallel to Queen Street. 

Wrote a blog post in the rest of the morning. Aiming to do more weeknotes. Afternoon walk to Victoria Park which was pleasantly busy; tea from the truck while watching passing people and dogs. 

A few drips of rain from mostly overcast sky, a good breeze from the West. A short very heavy shower in the evening. Watched the Caledonian Macbrayne ferry Caledonian Isles coming in through the lock to Leith harbour .. here for repairs.
