Bourke Street Bakery

My walking buddy is visiting family in New Zealand, so I lured K over to Surry Hills with the promise of a short walk. We checked out the new Wunderlich Lane precinct, really just a new apartment complex with shops, had an ice cream then wandered around my old neighbourhood.

The bakery around the corner from where I lived has offspring around the inner city, but the area is not totally gentrified. Closer to Central station volunteers were offering pizza slices to a long line of men.
