Busy day

R went off to meet M at Bluewater quite early and I then went for a 4.5 mile run. My legs were tired from the walking I have been doing this week but I managed to get round.
After a shower and sorting out the washing etc J&L arrived with Amber and we had a snack lunch before I took them to the kid’s birthday party they were going to. I then did grocery shopping for this evening and for our lunch event taking place on Wednesday, as we won’t have time to get what we need on Tuesday.
We had a late dinner and then an unexpectedly late night as Amber was just dreadfully upset and wouldn’t go to sleep despite R’s help and it wasn’t at all clear what it was all about. Really not helpful in terms of the long drive we have tomorrow.
In the midst of it all I went outside and took this photo of one of the Cordyline trees which is causing me some work at the moment, shedding lots of its dead leaves.
