Pots

A small collection of pots near the house. I like the contrast in leaf shapes. The canna is a recent addition, which I hope will survive the winter in the greenhouse. But as the plant cost less than a tenner, it’s not too big a risk. They remind me of my time in SE Asia where they grew wild by the roadside.

Slightly frustrating afternoon. Checked the website for the pool timetable and the usual 2-3:30 lane swim was listed as 2-3, with no later session. So I headed up at 2, rather than finishing the various jobs first. With the small pools closed only 1/3 of the pool was available and so it was full. But “you can sit in the cafe until 3 and go that session”. I went in the gym instead, and clarified the timing for next week.
