After the rain

Yesterday was a day of heavy rain and strong wind. In fact I didn't take a blip but sat in front of the fire all afternoon and into the late evening!! I did do some knitting and we had a TV binge!  The sad thing is that despite being fixed three times already, the leak from the upstairs deck into the lounge below is still there. My heart sank when I saw the water dripping from the ceiling. So, tomorrow first thing the contractor concerned will be phoned.  Today we woke up early in the freezing cold, but no rain, to go to church and this afternoon we went to a concert where a quartet played beautiful classical music. So we are feeling relaxed tonight and ready to face the week. Oh and we had more people looking at hubby's studio/ cottage over the weekend in the pouring rain!!
