Queens Park Panorama

Sunday and we resumed our routine of going to Queens Park in Loughborough for the bandstand concert. Today's photo is an attempt at shooting a panorama of the scene using my phone. Ignore the 'post' in the middle. Someone walked through while I was taking the photo.

The band today was the Quorn Ukelele Band who are very popular. They also perform regularly at Bawdon Lodge Farm. Their main merit is that they enjoy what they do and show it. I can't say I found them to be very musical but they sang with gusto. Plus they also raise money for Charity. This year they are supporting Steps in Shepshed which provides support for local children. Also prostate cancer and one other which I can't remember.

I was so glad that they had bought effective sound systems so that we could hear both them and the announcer.

Barbie and Ken spread out their blanket beside us, applauding each number. Ken always seems to wear the same clothes. Barbie has a varied wardrobe. See extra.

It didn't rain although Len was sure it would.
