Ganadores

Today was the perfect combination of a nearby walk and a repeat from last year, which we really didn't expect to do!   As we left Panticosa we discovered that the [main!] road was due to be closed from 11-6pm [for a bike race? we never found out why..]  So we had to quickly change our plans and find a walk that would keep us occupied and off the road for that time - cue a return visit to the embalse de Respomuso, the walk that last year had been our toughest. 

We paced ourselves better, enjoyed it more and when we finally made it to the embalse were able to enjoy a leisurely break before making the tough rocky descent complete with waterfall crossing!  Delighted that our walk-training in the UK has paid off, we truly felt like winners even after 8 hours of walking!
