Cormac's Chapel
Just home from a seriously mad five days away, three of them in the South of France - too wrecked to write about it tonight but rest assured there is a parallel universe out there and it's gob-smacking!
We left Dublin early this morning and took breakfast at a service station somewhere along the motorway - the whole of Kerry was in there each, each man woman and child enjoying the full Irish fry! They were on their way to Croke Park for the All Ireland Football Final against Donegal. What a contrast to where we'd just been and what a delight to be back amongst it!! And Kerry won!
We next stopped off at the Rock of Cashel which is simply jaw-dropping. Here's the info . This is Cormac's Chapel, the oldest structure on the site and absolutely beautiful. We enjoyed 99s listening to young woman playing the harp beneath the castle.
Now home and it will be bedtime shortly - a proper catch up tomorrow. Bon nuit :)
