Happy Place!

A wide open landscape with great views after climbing a relatively long, and certainly steep, hill. My happy place without a doubt. 

The very dark, and ominous looking, clouds didn't break and the weather remained dry for our meander around 55 miles of the island. The biggest places visited were Ramsey and Laxey but many other little villages were taken in too. Great day out on two wheels. 

Watching Wout van Aert winning the final stage of the Tour de France was also a highlight of the day. He so deserved that victory! Such an exciting crit style race too...and in terribly wet weather making the roads oh so slippy!
