England Won!

Never watched Football before but England v. Spain Womens Football got so much coverage today I thought I'd better watch it, especially as my youngest son who emigrated to Spain two years ago was backing the Spanish women footballers  -  I thought I'd better find out what it's all about  -  although having an Irish father and a Welsh mother I was born in England I had no problem with the choice:-))  I didn't understand any of the play but I did admire the knee-high stockings the English team wore.  They were a bit like the ones the Community Nurse left me to cure my swollen legs  -  I don't think my footwear would score goals though:-)) -  see my Blip. Quite honestly it was the facial expressions that interested me most  -  specially the Spain and England Managers when their teams weren't doing well  -  it was lovely to see Sarina's joy when her team won though
