The Four Old Ladies in town
I used to call Mom, Catherine and Judy the three old ladies in the country when they were off having adventures. In this photo Judy is on the left, then Catherine, Dorothy is their new friend who has been a big help. And Mom (Diana) on the right. I'm standing in the kitchen and they are sitting where the dining room will be. Just a few things moved but we've started.
Yesterday afternoon my friend Jim and I went up around the Happy Jack area. His van is a four-wheel drive with a very high clearance. We went down a road my car would never make it on. It was sooo wild and rocky. Anyway we got to an area you can over look the Laramie Valley. There is smoke in the air from fires in the Idaho, I think, and it made the sunset amazing. His van has a flat platform on top and we slept out under the stars. It was a little windy for my taste and I slept poorly but looking at the night sky made up for that. I would be able to drive my car up the Pilot Hill Road and then pull off and backpack the mile or so out to the open. There is so much amazing area up there. Some extras from last night.
