Quaking Grass

I now know why the gate to our village glebe field is called a kissing gate. It's because when you have to turn around to close the gate you get the soft, warm, velvety muzzle of a race horse "kissing" the back of your neck.

Kinky but nice! I was just worried in case the animal chose to bite at my hair grip and choke on it. They're worth many thousands! The race horses, not the Boots hairgrip. We've had at least 2 National winners from the village horses.

An afternoon of packing for our next adventure and a Zoom with The Girls who have placed an order for 18 crumpets for the 3 days they will be with us.

Because I thought l was going to watch an informative programme about health with Drs Chris and Xand van Tulleken, I turned on What's Up Doc? Well, it was a right farce staring Barbara Streisand. What a good laugh I had for someone with no sense of humour!

An evening blip of some quaking grass from the garden.
