La vida de Annie

By Annie

Goodbye and hello.

All change. Today I bid hasta luego to #2 daughter and family in Leeds, and travelled to Liverpool with #1 daughter and son. It had been a busy day with a morning trip to the White Rose centre, which became extremely busy and soon took me out of my comfort zone, with all the noise and lights and milling crowds. I began to feel nauseous and headachy, and it took a nap and paracetamol (and a lovely home-cooked roast Sunday dinner) to make me feel half human again. Now I’m installed at #1 D’s for the rest of my stay, and happily put my feet up, safe in the knowledge that there was no mischievous baby trying to flush my phone down the loo - her latest party-piece, along with keys and remote controls.
